Statements

Wearing statement jewelry easily pulls together simple, minimalist outfits. Pick one item to be the statement piece and other accessorizes low key. I paired the white cluster necklace with really simple stud earrings and no bracelets or rings (I always wear my heart/cross though, even if it doesn’t go) and kept the bag and shoes neutral.

Andy Garcia arrived styled very nicely. I really love his look, especially with his corduroy jacket and scarf. The warm colors and textures coordinated very well.

SF Fashion Week 2013: ‘Fashion Digitized’

Last week continued the many creative fashion shows in San Francisco. Denise Berry attended & covered the show ‘Fashion Digitized.’

Keeping with the futuristic theme, I styled her in a structured top with strong lines, but still wanted that feminine touch. So, I chose this sequin vintage top with an asymmetrical hem. The look is a statement in itself so I chose a neutral patent heel and kept the jewelry to a minimum.

Jenny’s Glam Baby Shower

Complete Makeover and StylingComplete Makeover

Complete Makeover and Styling

It’s A BOY! This is my cousin Jenny expecting her first baby this September. I glammed her up with some wavy curls to her hair, simple makeup but with a little smokey eye, and coupled her elegant black maxi dress with gold accessories. The gold cuff and beautiful gold earrings were enough of a statement to keep the jewelry on the minimal side, so I didn’t add a necklace or rings. I think its the perfect amount of jewelry for this particular maxi dress. She looks gorgeous and glamorous 🙂
