Debbie’s hair had grown very long from an old A-line. For a new style, I evened up her hair line, gave her lots of layers, and added face-framing layers starting a little below her jaw. She does have a lot…a lot of hair, I wanted to remove bulk and weight from the back of her hair but without thinning the hair. So rather than using thinning shears, I used a new technique I learned using the regular shears I had and it came out perfect.
After the haircut, I gave her a glossing treatment to soften and add tremendous shine to her locks. After the final styling of her hair, we moved on to makeup and fashion styling. She has beautiful brown eyes, so used neutral colors on her upper lid and to bring out her color I used a deep purple to line her lower lid. To brighten up the look, i used a mango colored lip gloss.
She looks amazing, definitely one of my favorite makeovers 🙂
It’s A BOY! This is my cousin Jenny expecting her first baby this September. I glammed her up with some wavy curls to her hair, simple makeup but with a little smokey eye, and coupled her elegant black maxi dress with gold accessories. The gold cuff and beautiful gold earrings were enough of a statement to keep the jewelry on the minimal side, so I didn’t add a necklace or rings. I think its the perfect amount of jewelry for this particular maxi dress. She looks gorgeous and glamorous 🙂
This is my beautiful sister-in-law Lissette modeling a really fun up do I was working on. This is currently one of my favorite up do’s! Its pretty easy to create and its just darn cute. Of course, I had to add some kind of sparkle to it. I really thought tiny rhinestones throughout the bow would be just perfect but i didn’t have any hair clips for that. Instead, I applied small dots of silver-glitter puff paint on the ends of the bobby pins and it gave the same effect as rhinestones.
For the makeup I wanted to keep it in the same color scheme as the hair-bow using black and silvers. But to keep it from being to dark all around, I used a bright pink lip color that had little flecks a glitter in it as well. It gives the whole look just the right pop of color.
My friend Kaiya was a beautiful model for a fashion show and rocked not only her dress but these Peacock inspired eyes. We did two different looks for her, one with vivid multicolor and the other a more monotone blue theme. I added glitter eyeliner to the”feathers” for added sparkle and glitz. She looks amazing and her eye color especially was perfect for this makeup.
This was so much fun to do! I did this look on my friend Cady at our beauty school. All the rhinestones are individually applied using clear eyelash glue. Love the false lashes too, it just goes perfectly with the theme of this makeup.
Leopard print eyes for my friend Juvina. I used a matte terracotta eyeshadow on the lid and a peachy coral in the crease. I drew the spots using an eyeliner pen making a messy “C” shape. I finished the look by filling in the spots using glittery-gold liquid eyeliner and a set of false lashes.
